Having gone to school at UCF, I was well familiar with Ale House. We had two in relative proximity to the university as well as four others in the city. The Alafaya was a regular for my friends to get a huge plate of chicken nachos and beers, or a cheap lunch. When I moved back to Miami, I had not heard good things about the Kendal Ale House, which was a shame. But then Bennigan's went bankrupt and after about a year as an empty building, they renovated the Palmetto Bay stand alone as the new Miller's Ale House. Its been open for a few months now and it still has a long wait every night. The food is excellent. Went with the Seafood Combo. A plate full of fried seafood (shrimp, fish, clam strips, scallops) for about $13. Considering you'd be paying at least $5 more at the Red Lobster across the street, not a bad deal. They also have daily dinner specials and a great selection of beer. Magic Hat #9 was on an all day every day happy hour when I went. You can't beat that. If it keeps up the quality of food and wait staff (majority are hot women, with some knowledgeable and friendly guys) I see it staying popular for a long time as the local American restaurant. It will be interesting to see what happens when the college starts back up. It isn't that close to UM, but when you factor in those students have no problem driving to South Beach every night, you have to figure there will be a crowd looking for large portions of cheap food, good beer, and plenty of TVs.

This place WAS great when it first opened, it has since turned into just a 'blah' run of the mill sports bar/restaurant. The food is mediocre at best and so is the service - we had to ask for napkins SEVERAL times, they forgot to bring entire dishes and side items, and then had the audacity to charge us for the items that we originally ordered but were never brought to us.

Great place. Sat at the bar. Lots of TVs. Yuengling on tap. I had Cajun chicken pasta and it was pretty good. I would go back

Located opposite the Falls across US1, I had high hopes for this place. But this place just turned out to be another corporate concept that flies by serving mediocre food and hopes you don't notice by drinking plenty of beer and being distracted by one of the 500 TV's taking up every square inch of wall space. At first I thought the Miller Brewing Co. had something to do with the ownership. Why wouldn't I think that since the graphics of the word "Miller" on their menus looks eerily like the Miller beer logo? But it is not affiliated with the beer company. It is a not-so-subtle attempt to make you think it is. Copyright infringement? I don't really care, but it set the tone for me with this message: Buy into our image, then give us the benefit of the doubt when your food comes out.

I recently visited the Ale House in Palmetto Bay after staying away for a long time and was quite surprised to find it has completely changed. When we went over a year ago it was terrible. The staff had bad attitudes and the service was mediocre at best. My friend insisted that we go, and in spite of my reluctance to do so, and bad history with the place, I went. Now I am completely turned around. Chrissy and Joe behind the bar were great. Even the manager came out singing and having a good time. Our food was brought quickly and was excellent. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the service was great. The manager came to talk to us to make sure we were happy and taken care of. After our past experience we had written this place off. Now, based on our last visit, we will make this a regular dining and meeting place. (June, 2013) After a recent return to the Ale House in The Falls, i have severely changed my opinion about this place. Boy, what a difference. I'm not sure what happened but now it is a mess. The service was terrible, they messed up on our order three times. The managers were yelling at each other, including what I thought was the GM. He did not seem to know how to run a restaurant. I'm sad that this place that was on the upswing and heading to my favorite place, has now turned to a place to avoid at all costs.

I really do have a place in my heart for The Ale House. I LOVE their fish tacos!! If you have yet to try them off their menu, do so! They are delicious! I live around the area so for the past few years I'd say I've been to ale house at least twice a month. The atmosphere is awesome and like I said, so are the fish tacos. That's about all that's great about The Ale House now anyways. When they first opened the service was phenomenal, but more recently (meaning the past three visits) I've had the same waiter and he is AWFUL! Luckily, I'm always with a young crowd so some of the things he does and say that are pretty inappropriate don't offend us. Besides the fact that all 3 times he was completely high on something and could barely communicate, the service was just bad in general. Just a few nights ago my girlfriend and I went to grab a late bite and of course... It was him again. When we were seated the hostess apologized and said she'd find our waiter since he seemed to have gone missing. He was nowhere to be found so she took our drink order instead. After about 15 minutes went by, another waiter came by and asked us if we got to order yet and we said no, he then also went to go find our waiter, still nowhere to be found... He came back and helped us order our starters, funny guy too, wish he was our server the whole time! So we kill our starters and now were just waiting around. FINALLY our actual waiter comes by and asks us if he can clear our table... What? We politely explained to him that we wanted to order and we've been waiting. So he takes our order. It takes forever for the food to come out, and by the time it does we're so ready to just leave that we ask for a side of guacamole, 2 to-go boxes, and refills of water for our cups. He comes back, no guacamole, no water, just 3 boxes? Okay. So we don't complain just politely ask for the refills again. So we pack our food and grab the waters... And get this, this is the cherry on top really... the water tastes like liquor? Really dude? Safe to say the experience over all was crappy. The only reason I'm give The Ale House 2 stars is for the polite hostess and the really cool waiter who took our appetizer order. Definitely won't be coming back as much as I used to. Such a shame.

Great bar food. I love Miller's, but the service on the patio is soooo slow. We have gone several times and anytime we choose to sit outside, it takes forever. Today the patio was half full and it took an hour and a half to get an appetizer and a salad. If the services was better, I would give them more stars.

I like going to this location because there's usually no waiting to get a table so that's a plus. The only thing i ever order from the Ale House are the Zinger Melts, they are really good. Staff is usually attentive, and food comes out pretty fast. Good for a late night quick bite/drink.

The restaurant had it's ups and downs. I had a cheeseburger that was way overcooked and dry. My fries weren't fresh even though it was 11:30am. My friend ordered the Osseo Bucco and enjoyed it thoroughly! I thought it looked tasty but never tasted it. The server was bright and remembered our order but it took a while to get our food. On the flip side, the patrons were wonderful and everyone seemed to have a relaxed composure about them. I would definitely try it again but if my food sucked again, I wouldn't go back after that.

I once wrote a great review about the Ossobuco at this restaurant. Not tonight! I must admit our waitress was honest when she came out and told me that my Ossobuco was frozen. She offered to let me change my order t or if I waited they would cook it to perfection but it would take a few extra minutes. I opted to wait because I really liked it the last 4 times I ate it here. Big mistake. The first 3/4" was cooked but as I got closer to the bone it was still frozen. In case they read this and are not aware, you could make somebody really sick serving them undercooked pork. Does the word "trichinosis" mean anything to these people? It wasn't undercooked, it was raw! On top of that the vegetables were cold and the potatoes were "luke warm" at best. Our waitress Kim was the best part of the meal and her honesty is to be applauded. Now the first manager that came out is a frigging liar! The meat was frozen to the touch on the inside. I don't care what he says. He then berated the waitress for being truthful to us. The second manager that came to our table ended up comping the entire meal after I sent back my replacement meal. I made the mistake of ordering the "English Style Fish and Chips" described on their menu as "A Generous Portion of Flaky White Fish Fried Golden Brown". Well, if the Brits ever tried this they might start another war with us. It was white, but it definitely wasn't golden brown or flaky! I can't get the taste out of my mouth. All in all the meal was a disaster. Now all I have to do is cancel my subscription to their e-mail list and un-like the on Facebook!

Hour and hour and a half waits? That's ridiculous, I would never wait this long for Ale House. I came here once and managed to get in, ONLY because it was lunch time. The food was blah, it tasted like it was previously frozen then microwaved. Such a waste of my time! The hostess's there don't know what they're doing, they tell you 30 min...but it turns to an hour....horrible. That's what happened when a couple of friends and I tried to come for dinner a while ago. But we ended up leaving. I can see why everyone likes coming here because it's convenient, affordable, and there's flat screens everywhere. But I just refuse to come here and wait 45 min plus, when the food is definitely not worth it.

I've been to this place several times with my family. We intend to go back, but certainly not for the food which is mediocre on a good day. No, the only reason you go to the Ale House in Pinecrest is for the great ambience and energy the place has. The drink specials are good, and the only place they don't have a big screen is on the actual table you're sitting at. My favorite part of being there is observing the staff. On the first visit our waiter was a thirty-something dude who was flying high on something. Whatever it was made him hungry because he looked like he wanted to dive into my nachos!

  • Kayla B.

If you plan on coming to watch a game, come and grab a table early, as it gets packed. They've got decent drink specials, however, go with beer because the liquor always tastes watered down. Have had some good meals here, my dad is a huge fan of their osso buco, a fairly complicated dish which they make just right. Standard chicken wings however, fall below par. Weird.

Brand spanking new! Doesn't stink like stale beer like most Ale Houses. And thank goodness they tore down that disgusting Bennigans. Otherwise, same delicious food and great drink specials!

Perfect place to go after work for a quick drink to unwind. I absolutely love the outdoor patio. Even on these hot summer afternoons the patio is maintained at a comfortable temperature with misting fans. The outdoor area is essentially why I enjoy this Ale House. Ale House is Ale House! Don't come here with a haughty attitude expecting a spectacular dining experience

Always a great atmosphere, and always a great place to watch the Heat play. The food is excellent, the drinks are great and the service is great. Prices are average but the food is always great. It gets crowded and loud on weekends and during sports events but we always have a good time. We love the bartenders.

I want to start by saying that I will give this Ale House another try because the food was excellent and I believe it has major potential. The wait was actually not that bad but since there were about 5 people ahead of us we headed to the bar where you can still see the numbers as they call for seating. As I was ordering my drink I noticed that our number had been posted so I went up and the girl just said "Oh we thought you left so you're going to have to wait till the next table is open" grrr.... Ok, sure... Our waitress was nice but not quite attentive. She took my order wrong so I waited and waited for my salad to come and it never did. When I asked her she simply said "No your salad comes with your meal, not as a starter" I was baffled because it clearly says "add a salad for $1.95" When I looked at the menu to verify I told her that she must've misunderstood what I said when I placed my order. She thought I wanted a salad as a side, not as a starter. This could've been avoided by clarifying. After that she barely came to the table and seemed to be a bit odd but I really didn't think it was such a big deal until I got that weird vibe from her. Anyway, I really loved the food and atmosphere, I just hope my next visit goes a little smoother :)

Horrible service. Wrong drink orders dirty cups plus a bug in a drink. Save your money.

I had never been to this location before. It's huge! Much bigger than the Doral and Kendall Ale Houses and it has an outdoor seating area as well. My husband and I ordered salads for lunch. I know, I know...how can we come to the Ale House and NOT order Zingers??? But, we wanted something lighter for lunch. The salads were really good..fresh and tasty. The grilled chicken on the salad was delicious. The service was good and very attentive...almost too attentive, but I prefer that to being sort of ignored the way we sometimes are at the Doral Ale House.

This place is in the same lot where Bennigan's used to be. They knocked down the old building and build this one. I finally went this weekend. WOW what a difference from the old place. This place is packed and happening. I when both days for dinner Saturday and Sunday. With a waiting line both days we sat at the bar both days. Saturday the outside bar Sunday the inside bar. The outside bar is big with fans, Flat screens and music playing. All the bartenders where very friendly and nice. Large selection of draft beers. I order a large Caesar Salad with the 8Oz Filet Mignon and fry's. They brought the salad first and it was fresh, then the Filet. It was cooked perfect medium nice and tender. The fry's where good as well. I enjoyed my time there so much I when back on Sunday and had the same with the same results. I'm so happy they open this place near my house. I work near the Doral one and this plays blows away Doral's in service, Food quality and atmosphere. If you're in this area looking somewhere to eat I strongly suggest this place.

I was kind of hesitant in coming here -- the last time I had been to the Ale House (Kendall) I had eaten some nachos past midnight and my stomach turned into a total gremlin. But my experience here was relatively pleasant. It's located where the Bennigan's used to be, directly across the street from the Fall's. Looks like any other Ale House, if you've walked inside one, you know what I'm talking about -- lots of wood, an arbitrary amount of TVs, beer signs and promotions all over the walls, a tasteful amount of what I like to call Floridian-barnacle decor, kind of generic. I had this seafood bake with lobster, stone crabs, shrimp, potatoes, and corn on the cob. It was pretty " 'ight" not bad -- only cost 16 bucks but I think some of my shellfish were fasting for prom before they were plucked from the sea. Not much meat on the bones, but enough not to feel completely gypped. This location also seems to have a back patio with a stunning view of Bloomingdales, US1, and a bus lane! So, I'm assuming if you smoke, it's allowed here. Again, let me stress the world "assuming" because I noticed the patio only when I was leaving and never physically checked it out. But it looked hopping...if the Ale House kind of crowd (and at this locale, I noticed three different men in wife beaters *having* to put on a *normal shirt* with sleeves *before* entering the restaurant) is your kind of crowd.

This bar/restaurant is a great addition to the area. The outdoor patio bar is large and accommodating. It's been full every evening I've stopped in, showing that lots of thirsty Pinecrest residents were longing for a place like this. The indoor area is a little less party, more family friendly. I've been twice for lunch since I work in the area. It is very busy at lunch and you'll be cutting it close if you're on a one hour limit. The second time I went our waitress was very conscious of helping us get in and out without us having to ask. I've had the Zinger Salad and the Citrus Key Lime Salad, both of which I enjoyed and would order again. They have so many specials and deals going on everyday you can easily come here on a budget. They have a decent beer selection and every liquor needed for a good time. I'm happy to have this option in the neighborhood!

This specific Ale House is awesome simply for the fact that it has a outdoor patio bar. Now I can eat my wings, drink my beer AND smoke a cigarette without getting out of my chair.

The old Stale House ain't what it used to be. Although the drink specials are super the food isn't always up to pare. We sat outside and ordered the chicken nachos which BTW is like a signature item for the Ale House. We had to send them back 3 times to be heated enough. It's not that hard people chicken, chips, cheese and heat. Granted probably should have just walked out but it was raining and damn it we wanted hot chicken nachos. The waitress was barely attentive and the manager who delivered our nachos the 3rd time didn't even offer a discount for our troubles. Just stick to the drinks that is if you can get them to pay attention to you.

To me Ale house has lost its lust since well I graduated high school. Keep in mind I always went to Kendall Ale house and it is just not doing it for me. Finally I decided to check out this Ale house and immediately liked it. Maybe it was the huge patio with a live band playing Jimmy Buffet tunes, maybe it was all the fishing decor, maybe it was the $6 which used to be $5 pitchers. I do not know exactly what it was but I liked this ale house. The food was fresh and tasted good, the service was better than what I am accustomed. So my friends if you would like to enjoy some fried clams drink beer and listen to a band I will meet you here

I should have taken the waiter's chinstrap facial hair style as an omen. Then, I should have taken his reference to us as "fellas" as further omen. THEN, I should have taken his lack of knowledge of any "local beers," even when the menu specifically said to ask about said "local beers," as the final omen. Alas, we did not immediately flee for the exit. 4 different beer orders. 1 of 4 beers given to the correct person. 15 minutes after ordering. I ordered the Mahi Mahi. For a place that advertised its special of 36 shrimp for $10 on the outside window of the restaurant, this was a risky move. The Mahi Mahi did, however, come with one "potato" side and coleslaw. At least that could fill me up. 30 minutes later. Food arrives. Burnt Mahi Mahi and a dollop of mashed potatoes. No cole slaw. Terrible gravy*. After a few bites, I waved to our waiter and asked for a side salad, so I could at least have something edible for the night. We order an additional round, which shows up 10 minutes later. He still messes up half our orders. The salad arrives 20 minutes later, when everyone else is done eating. It is mediocre. I eat purely for sustenance. Lesson learned. Never enter a place that advertises 36 shrimp for $10. As one member of our party noted, "better to punch yourself in the dick and eat cold McDonalds," than to eat at the NMB Alehouse. *not sure if was actually gravy. It was brown and tasted like gasoline.

i am officially a food snob. apparently, i need food boutiques. i can't handle these chains anymore. server took a while to greet us and ask for drinks (about 10 mins). food was so blah. hubby had zinger tacos and apart from the zing, no other flavor. i had the most bland cheese burger ever. cooked to order tho. my burger came with swiss cheese not american as ordered. it's no better than chillis, fridays, etc. i hadn't been to an ale house in over 10yrs and will not be returning for another 10.

A dear friend of mine invited me a couple of weeks ago for their lobster special. The place was mobbed, and we opted for eating outside instead of the longgggg wait for an indoor table. The first thing we encountered was a guy puffing on a hugely obnoxious smelling cigar, so we went to the opposite end of the outdoor dining area. It was REALLY hot (that's South Florida for ya!). After sitting for about 10 minutes we were greeted by our server who told us that they were out of lobster. I wish the greeter had told us that! Anyway, the manager that night (not the regular one) told us he would give us a discount on another entre. He was extremely accommodating, and the food was pretty good, so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of lower. We are going to try again for the lobster special tomorrow night, even though the price went up $3-4. Hope they have it this time!

I have been to a few Ale House locations and this one is probably the best one. I ordered fish and chips and was amazed by the amount of food I got! There must have been at least a dozen pieces of fish! I ended up giving half of my order to my wife. Not only was there a lot of fish, it was pretty good too. My wife got a half rack of ribs that she seemed pretty happy with. Oh yeah, I forgot about the stuffed jalapeno deals. They are freakin awesome! Probably the best jalapeno based appetizer I have ever had.

I really enjoyed this place. So far, almost all the Ale house's I've been to have been very good, in both atmosphere, food quality, and price. Miller's Ale House was no different. Great food, especially the lunch and dinner specials! Ribs!!!

Pro's: -The place is brand-new. -Lots of big screen TV sets around. -Smoke-free, except on the outdoor patio, which is covered and has fans & misters. -reasonably priced beer. Con's: -food is mediocre at best. -service was very slow and inattentive at 3:30pm on a weekday afternoon when business was light. -french fries were cold and not salted. go for the beer and forget everything else.

Came here recently when I decided to venture out of my neck of the woods and head to South Miami. First thing that I noticed and thought was neat about this place was the roofed outdoor bar area. The second thing i noticed how densely packed this place was. It was a Thursday night and the place was packed to the gills ( pun intended, this place has a fisherman's theme too it). Also noticed how much older the crowd was. ( I'm 24). Waited for about 30 minutes for a table for two. They have a system of led light panels that will light up when your party is called set up around the place. If you don't pay attention you might miss it. Menu has plenty of food choices. If you've been to one Ale House you been to all really. The wings were okay but the spinach dip was great! Whatever chips they used I couldn't get enough of! Service was speedy and well done. They have plenty of plasmas set up to watch the game. I wanted to watch the Marlins game while everyone else was there for the NBA Finals and they were kind enough to put it on for me when I asked. if i'm the area sure I'll come again.

This place is a glorified - or maybe even not so glorified - flannigans. there is absolutely nothing special about this place at all. i went here with a couple of people from work - and it definitely was not my suggestion. sure - the menu is huge - but its essentially how many different ways can we present you with fried foods. the fish sandwich is about as average as a fish sandwich can be. the fact that this place is (was) always so packed speaks to the low standards of most people. i am sure going there for a beer would be a different experience but as far as the food goes this is the kinda place that i avoid at all costs. actually i probably won't even find myself going here for drinks either.

Where has THIS Ale House been all my life?! Its all about the Patio area that is covered, has televisions and a bar... oh and you can smoke. CLUTCH for sports events. The weird thing is that this ale house really has no ______ Ale House Name... (Kendall, Doral). I guess its Pinecrest or The Falls, we even asked a waiter and they did not know what to refer to it as. Great staff/service. Only kind of annoying thing is there is cops that just circle around in the parking lot.

I love going to the Ale House to unwind and have a drink or 5. You can always just kick back relax and watch a game, hangout, ect. This place is laid out great with your choice of indoor or outdoor bar. My only complaint, and this is obviously from a customer standpoint is the bartenders are not loose at all when they pour. Good for business bad for drinkers.... Any other bar, not just the Ale House family you can usually get a little extra bit of liquor love, here you get exact measurements.

Stopped in after a long day of fishing. The calamari appetizer was nice and crispy with the side if Thai spicy sauce. I had the special of the day which was steak and crab legs. It was ok, but nothing to rave about. My sister had the macaroni with shrimp and scallops which was really yummy. My salad came after my dinner and they forgot my baked potato. I guess I was to tired to care. I did like the waitress though. I think the next time I will just stick with appetizers because I saw what other diners ordered and they looked awesome!

The best part of the restaurant is the cheery waitstaff. The worst part is the food. We had the seafood combo with king crab, mussels, clams, lobster tail, red potatoes and corn on the cob. Put all the seafood together and there were six good sized bites. The clam chowder was very tasty and served in a tiny ramekin....4 bites. The other dish was the mahi-mahi grilled sandwich with fries on the side. Bland. Most of the offerings on the menu are very high in fat and the sides offered with entrees are minescule. The tab, including iced tea and two beers came to $42. We went in hungry and came out almost as hungry. I must say that the people at the outside bar seemed to be having a good time so maybe it's the place for beverages, rather than food. No returns in the near future.

It was my first time in Miller's Ale House, my cousin is the one who brought me. She wanted to have the $13 lobster meal. I think it's a very competitive and very good deal. We went on a wednesday night at around 7pm. It was packed with people and we had to wait for like 20 minutes before our number got called by the hostess. The table where we were about to seat is where I'm standing in front of. I was disappointed on the speed of the busboy (in this case she's a busgirl). It took her three minutes to clean a table for three people. When we got called, we immediately ordered our food. My cousin ordered some ribs, mine is the lobster special, as well as my aunt, and for my nephew is some seasoned fries. The service was fast but our server is not attentive. The place was huge and I only saw like five or four servers (they are also the busboys). The food was ok, but I didn't have that "oooh yum" moment when I ate the lobster. The lobster was big and stuffed with some shrimps and butter. I enjoyed their seasoned fries than the lobster. All in all, the vibe was great and the service was fast. The food was ok, but I guess I have to come back and try for other stuffs on their menu.

the pinecrest ale house... I've been coming here since they opened up a few months ago. I used to be a regular at the Kendall location but that one is too hood and all the bartenders suck now. I sit in the outside bar where it's nice and cool cuz they have fans and misters blowing non-stop.. and u can smoke outside too... bartenders are really nice and I've become a regular so they know what I drink.. if I plan to eat i'd get the wings tossed in a combo of mt. saint Helen, honey mustard, and BBQ. I know it sounds weird but it's fire. or you can never go wrong with the Bahamian dolphin.. sooo goood and healthy as well... they bake it wit tomatoes potatoes zuchinni and bring it to u in the foil.. fire... only reason it's not five stars is cuz it's in the heart of pinecrest and the police like to chill there and pull u over.. but hey that's entrapment so just be careful.overall this is a new hangout spot when I get out of work or jus wanna kick back n have a few drinks..after party is corbetts cuz their last call is at 1 30 and they really enforce it :(

I was impressed by this place. I've been to other Ale Houses and by far this is the best one I've been to. Ok, I understand it's new, but they did a good job. The outside area is nice with their Fans blowing a water mist to keep you cool, the lay out is like others, but a little nicer, for me I live it because of the Fishing Theme. The food is also good and their service is EXCELLENT! Great place to hang also on Bike night. Great deals on Drinks.

I went for the first time the other night, the place was PACKED on a footballess Wednesday!!! WOW! Love the patio. The inside bartenders seemed overwhelmed and we had to wait for at least 10 minutes for any kind of acknowledgement but it seemed like a staffing faux pas not a deliberate slight. Food was very good and our waiter Christian Rocked. Well done.

Bad service, wack food, weak drinks. All in all, it was my first and LAST visit. If you like to WAIT a long time for a waiter and then even longer for your food, to the point where you have to ask your waiter wtf is going on and then he turns into a ninja who avoids eye contact every time he passes your table after that, then hey, this is your spot. Otherwise, keep it moving!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today and will NOT be stopping by ever again. Their food is TERRIBLE, I do not understand, whats wrong with the people that have written reviews saying that the food here is great??? They either have very, very, very low standards and primitive taste buds, or they are somewhat related to the owners of the place and are trying to help out build the business. Do not waste your precious time and even more precious MONEY, go somewhere else....

I like this Alehouse. Close to my house. Never to packed. Even during Heat games. Usually the wait is about 5-10min. Not bad. The service is great. I gotta come here during ladies night. I'm always the one in Doral. I love the zingers mountain melt!! I'll come here any given night.

My friends called me out here at like midnight on a Thursday night to come hangout. Wasn't bad though because it was ladies night (free drinks until 2am) and half off appetizers. The restaurant wasn't packed though which was good because we sat down right away. Shout out to our waiter Aaron he was very nice and has great customer service!! Like any other ale house though the food is okay. Always love ordering the loaded fries and calamari. They have a little eating contest going on now til Sept 6th?? I believe eat as many HOT wings in 5mins to qualify to be a contestant to the eating contest and possibly with 40inh tvs and such of that sort. I'm thinking of trying it... might be fun lol :D

This Alehouse has become my spot, it's closer to my house. Since the time I been here I can't really complain service has been good, no long waits, people that work are cool.

besides the occasional new hire waitress/waiter who doesnt know what they are doing, i always have a great meal and drink at the ale house. the soda on tap is super fresh and the beer - you can tell they regularly clean the taps there by the taste. wings are great. i like the burgers and sphagetti too! gotta love the ale!

I wish Christian our "temporary server" had stayed with us before switching to Vanessa. Christian was far more attentive and personable. Due to Vanessa chatting away with her friend/coworker for over ten minutes I had to ask the bartender for extra BBQ sauce and another beer - which was still completely disregarded! So five minutes later I decided to walk across the restaurant to interrupt Vanessa and her friend during their conversation for the request. Very disappointed, the service was horrible and I left no tip for Vanessa with a simple note about her lack of customer service.

I feel sort of, kind of.. a little bad writing this review because I think there is a crowd out there that thinks this is 5 stars, the best, Valentine's Day worthy food. However, for me, it's simply blah. I should say this - I will probably return to this place multiple times after this review because this is just that type of place - not so great food, fried food, 10+ Chicken Wing flavors, lots of booze, tons of TV's, rowdy crowd, and tight clothes on people who shouldn't be eating here. My grandma enjoys their 35 fried shrimp for 9.95 because she thinks it's a steal! The food is nothing special. The fish tacos are dry, the new scallop dish is HORRENDOUS!!! The worst thing I've ever ordered here. Their Prime Rib Special on Thursdays is okay. My husband likes it. $12.95 for 12oz and 2 sides. But he'll eat anything. Food I enjoy - French Onion Soup, Chicken Wings, Zingers, sweet potato fries, smoked fish dip Go Heat

So slow!!!!! The food is okay, but the service is just plain sad. There is something wrong when you spend over an hour at a restaurant for a couple burgers. But the burgers were pretty tasty so 2 star instead of 1.

I don't really have much to say about this Ale House. Food is sub-par here. The drinks were ok. Overall, the place was pretty spacious with lots of TVs which is great for watching the game but that's pretty much it.

Nice place, i was outdoor, it was a rainy day so I wanted to enjoy that weather. Service was warm, Angela was the name of the person helping us. Food quantity could be bigger but it was OK, definitely my order or fajitas was a bit cold to my taste. I'll come back, I liked it

Nice big sports bar with great drink specials! Seems like your standard chain-style establishment, but Millers Ale house served up some inexpensive brews so I can't hate. Pitchers of beer were less than $10 and my glass of chardonnay was $4. Not sure if I would dare order a mixed drink here (given the fact that they're a chain and probably measure their liquor out pretty specifically), but beer and wine did the trick. Everything on the menu looks absolutely delicious and obscenely calorie laden (nothing healthy here!), but that's to be expected at a sports bar. I could see myself coming here with a bunch of friends and watching the game. Sounds like a good time!

We stopped here for a late lunch on the way home from the Gold Coast Train Museum. Admittedly, I wasn't very excited about the place being an alehouse I thought it would be loud with mediocre bar food. Boy, was I wrong. We walk in and are greeted by a friendly hostess, and seated immediately. The place was pretty quiet for an alehouse on a Saturday afternoon(then again football season is over so that could be why). Our waiter was excellent all around. The food was delicious. I had a Caesar salad(which was huge and only cost like $2), and lobster bisque soup(also huge and cost like $3 or $4). I am picky about my Caesar salads so I will give it an 8 out of 10. The soup was amazing! I devoured it! My son had a grilled cheese and apple slices which he seemed to enjoy, he cleaned his plate. My husband had some kind of burger with bacon, cheese, an onion ring, with sweet potato fries on the side and he loved it. The plates were very generous size, the quality of food excellent and the prices were very cheap. We will definitely come here again if we are in the neighborhood!

This is a good place to watch football games. Tons of televisions and you can always find the game you want. Food is pretty lame. We get appetizers, which are harder to ruin, but even then the food is not very good. I went here twice with my family for dinner and the service was terrible. We had a long wait just to get menus and out drinks ordered. One time we left because we were still waiting for our food an hour after we sat down, and the place was not crowded. If it weren't for the football games I'd never set foot in this place.

For the caliber of bar/restaurant this place is, it GREAT! 3$ draft on Sunday...and by draft I mean any draft they have on tap. WOW do they have a lot on tap, over 25 choices! Not to loud, millions of TV's, great bar food, our bartender was so nice...I will be going back!

Always fond of Ale Houses all around. This one is big in size with a nice patio section. It is also fairly new. Great food, prices, and beer selection. Can't go wrong with that. The crowd is pretty decent too.

I love going there on Fridays when they have a Caja China and give away free pork, have a DJ playing requests, all on the patio overlooking the Falls Shopping, and $1 margaritas!!! Oooooooh yeaaaah! As we say in Miami - Dale! (can't wait 'til Friday) ;-)

Pretty good food, slow service. This was a weekday lunch and we had 2 year olds with us. Honestly, in that situation the service matters more than the food. I ordered a slow braised pork shank that reminded me of a Disney World turkey leg. I would do that again! But they do have a wide variety of decent food which makes it a great place to take a group. They also have a nice patio eating area and large bar area so you can go as adults and just drink. It's like a TGIF, except cooler.

Ill start with the good. Good to great food. Wings are awesome. Rib special is great. Filet mignon even is very good. Drink specials i love. Prices are fantastic. So why dont I come more often? Service. When I go to the bar, everything is great. But I cant say the same about the servers. When I sit down to eat and the server gets visibly upset when my wife and I order the $1 drink special because it ends in 3 minutes and he wanted me to buy something at full price, I should have known it would be a meal-long struggle. So we get the drinks, then we get a margarita pitcher after to share which was weak but ok. For dinner my wife orders shrimp and I order filet mignon. We also get a calamari appetizer. When the food comes out, it all comes out together. Calamari placed down at the same time comes shrimp and steak. Come on man. Thats amateur hour. Where is the training?? So now my filet is sitting there for a while as I eat the calamari. After a few minutes the waiter comes and I ask him why it all came out together and he says I didnt specify that I wanted the calamari first. Ok so now its my fault. I ask him nicely to heat up the steak a bit after we finish the calamari. He did, and it was decent though no longer rare as I wanted it. Anyways. Waiter was bad. Not his fault either. I blame the managers for not training their employees to know what an appetizer is.

We had a party of seven after attending a local graduation. We were placed in a booth closest to the kitchen and wait staff prep area. Not sure why the hostess went out of her way to clean this table off and put us in the way back. There were other seats open in this servers section. The veg menu was limited but available, points for that as the regular menu offers very little with out meat. The veg meal item we ordered, looked like it was dug out of the trash, it was veg fajitas. It was terrible, not even barely cooked, missing many of the items listed on the menu and the onions looked like they were fished out of soup broth. Everyone at the table was shocked at the over all miss with this dish. It is a pretty easy dish to make and serve. While we were eating, we were listening to fighting among the staff, with staff moving in and out of the kitchen yelling and using curse words, often. We just figured it was close to closing time so everyone was basically checking out and did not care. Then we heard the manager on duty start yelling at someone not cleaning, this someone was our wait person. Not only was the manager yelling but using colorful language, and degrading this person. Not only could we hear this whole transaction, so did all the other staff. All kinds of wrong. We waited and addressed the manager, who seemed very aware of their wrong doing. Our request was that they pay attention and maybe in apology be given. Would not recommend to any of our FL friends or family. Thanks

Dear Ale House of Pinecrest/Palmetto Bay, The elusive Ale House... For months we could not even make it in through the front doors. Every time we'd arrive, there were droves of people waiting in ridiculous lines, which wrapped around the building, just to try and get a table. I'm sorry Ale House, but I'm not about to wait over an hour to sit inside and eat your food; just not happening. So finally a few weeks ago, on a random Monday night, we found the conditions just right - no wait, not too many tables, and baseball playing on the TVs. Perfect! All we were missing, which came quickly thereafter, were our ice cold brews. Wondering why there was so much hype for so long, we struck up a conversation with our waitress, who explained that between basketball and soccer, the opening months were full of excitement and sports events. Finally, things are getting back to normal around here! Having received our beers, we asked if there were specials, which my love was quick to try: a full rack of baby back ribs for $10.99?! SOLD! You also had seasonal snow crabs, so I went with that option, with a loaded baked potato for a side. We also split a broccoli and cheese soup. All of the food was really good; the ribs were juicy, the bbq sauce was tasty, and though the snow crabs were a bit on the small side there was a full pound of them, and I left happily satisfied. Glad we were able to finally make it in. I was beginning to think you were just a figment of my imagination or a mirage in the desert, but now I know you are actually real. I'm hoping to grab a couple Sunday & Monday night football games here, so hopefully you've learned crowd control in the last few months. All the Best, SabrinaAnna*

Wings were good here, so was the bloody Mary and I'm picky about my bloody mary's! Everything else is just alright. This is definitely a place to come for wings and drinks on a game day, nothing more. I will say that out of all the ale houses I've been to, this is by far the nicest one. The outdoor bar they have outside is REALLY nice. It had a roof and fans so it stays relatively cool

We came here for the first time last Friday night, because we wanted to sit outside somewhere close by. We sat at the outside bar. The good: Our bartender, Christen! She was super nice, and very friendly. I liked that the bar was outside, even though the view is of US1, and Old Navy. The bad: The smokers! I get that we're outside, but so was every smoker. I am all for smokers having the right to smoke outside, but it was a little much. The music was WAY too loud. Luckily, Christen was nice enough to turn it down. all in all, okay. I'm sure we will return.

OMG! what is this craziness!! an Ale House in Pinecrest!!!???! Yesterday after night class my friend calls me excitedly and informs me that they've opened an Ale house right next to her house, across from the falls and I didn't even say good bye, hung up the phone and was on my speedy way. When we got there the place was packed and happening! But it is safe to say that the people have this system down to a T. Instead of the Kendall Ale house, where they usually shout your name, this one has a number system; you get a number, and you can go to any of the multiple bars, and pay attention to the many counters displaying the numbers (like the DMV). Pretty cool. The best part about it is the patio area, perfect for awesome afternoon happy hours, where you can down some pitchers with friends, order the massive rounds of nachos, or zingers, or bbq wings, or even snow crab legs!! YES, the thing I love about this Ale house is that it has a serious selection of seafood platters, from lobster, crab legs, shrimp, mussels, you name it. And you really can't beat their happy hour specials, today they are having $1 Margaritas in Pitchers of beer.... WHAT??! you know where I'll be at for happy hour. If hard liquor isn't your forte then worry not, their draft selection is pretty amazing, I must have seen at least 20 something options on tab. Way to go step up the game Ale house, you were already a favorite, but now you bring it to my hood and bring the game up.... ta' bien Perfect place to watch the NFL draft too. The four stars is only because they just opened and they still have some kinks to sort out.

Beware, we used to frequent this alehouse and it was pretty good, but this time was way different. From the beginning the reception by hostess was stale and we had to almost beg to be put on the waiting list. Food was terrible like yesterdays leftovers and services was slow and unorganized. I overheard the waitress saying they are going through alot of changes incl management. Place had no music , and zero vibe like you'd normally experience in an AleHouse. Not going back, rather go to Carrabas or Cheesecake Factory!!!

Love this place a great destination no mater if you are celebrating a birthday or just stopping to get a bite. Foods always on point, staff is always friendly. I was in the mood for lemon pepper wings, was in the area and decided to call to place order. Why was I kept on hold for 4 mins "waiting for a server" because the person that answered the phone did not know what the "spicy reddish brown sauce" was. Seriously? U had nooo idea that I could've been referring to the Mt st Helen sauce, or whatever it's called. So I get home...starving! I bite into my first wing...what issss it? Saying that the wings were HORRIBLE and tasteless is being really nice. Sigh...i had one! The rest are in the trash! So disappointed! Ugghhh

Loving all the TV ' S and the Guiness Blonde on tap!! :) Plenty of large tv screens for all sports. Great environment for watching sports and staff is normally very attentive. Prices are good and food is decent as well. Inside and outside patio seating available all with views of great TV's.

We ordered the brisket sliders off the new menu and were extremely disappointed. The amount of meat on the sliders was a joke...nothing like the picture. The waitress sent it back to the kitchen to be fixed and it came back the same--hardly any meat. Sent it back again and ordered the ribs and brisket platter...another disappointment. Dry brisket, four cold ribs. Not a good experience. Menu prices have increased and the amount of food has decreased. Value for the money is no longer a good deal.

Came here (and other Ale Houses as well) couple times before and after I discovered Yelp for the 35 shrimps and because the restaurant opens til late--great for in-the-biz people who gets out of work late. Out of all the times I've came with my friends to this location, we only received good service maybe three times (I think the servers' names were Aaron (who is now a manager I think), Tony or Luis? (guy with a black beard, always very attentive and actually works efficiently unlike the others), and a short petite blonde girl. The other servers/bartenders we've had at booths/bar/high-tops seemed like they did not care about their jobs, do not acknowledge guests right away (had to wait 10+ minutes to be greeted), made us wait a while on utensils, napkins, and refills, and are almost always chatting with one another about things unrelated to work. They usually group by the fountain soda, bar service station, or host stand areas, or are nowhere to be seen. Here is an example of a recent experience I had: Last night (this morning) around 1am, my friend and I went to this Ale House because we were hungry and did not want to get fast food. We walked to the outdoor area, sat at the bar (the restaurant was not busy), and waited for more than 10 minutes. We contemplated on whether to just leave or not, but stayed because we were tired. The bartender finally came by after we made a hand signal. No "Hi, how are you?" Or "Would you like menus or hear our specials?" No introduction of his name either. Maybe he's tired, trying to clean up, or maybe they are short staffed, whatever it is, at least make an effort to give some sort of good service (to make tips). He could have so many chances to up sell and get great tips, but not much effort at all. We ordered two well drinks, 35 shrimps (blackened) with coleslaw and side salad with ranch, the $5 zingers with sauces on the side. The well drinks and a cup of water were given to us fairly fast. However, no coasters, no napkins, to help keep their bar top dry. Fine, not a big deal. Usually the good servers we have had would give us utensils and plates right after ordering, but we had to ask for utensils after the food came. I would think servers should try to anticipate the guests' needs before they ask, but we had to ask to get our drinks/food ordered, and the utensils and napkins. I had finished my drink and it would have been nice if the bartender came by and asked if I wanted another (to up the sale) but didn't ask until we were almost done with our food. I didn't even bother trying to signal him to come by. And by that time, I was already ready to leave. We ended up just finishing the food because we didn't want to bother "disturbing" the bartender for a container to go. He seemed too busy cleaning up already and chatting with another fellow coworker about working out at YouFit. When we got our check, we were charged for two Captain Morgan doubles drinks when we only ordered two singles (a Smirnoff and a Captain Morgan). Told the bartender about it, he corrected it. We usually leave great tips (because we know that servers/bartenders get minimum wage and depend on tips) but his service was horrible, gave him 18% off of the check total as a courtesy. Could have given him amazing tips--double, triple, or quadruple, or more, but he didn't make much efforts and took forever to greet us. Food was great. Service was horrible. What a great way to end the night.

The food is subpar for the most part. Service is usually the same. Does have an outdoor bar though. Decent drink specials. Inconsistent food as it seems there must be a lot of turnover in kitchen staff. The wait staff is primarily young kids that spend most of their time socializing with one another. Managers are always MIA or complacent. Broke my molar on a poorly rinsed oyster. Manager refused to pay dentist bill or even half of it. This is precious. We came back again just for drinks as we were bar hopping. So we were sitting at the outside bar for about 5 minutes with 3 bar tenders right in front of us. They were complaining about how slow it was for a Saturday and continued to ignore us. Finally I loudly asked, "EXCUSE ME. ARE YOU OPEN?". True story. This place blows like a chick on a casting couch.

This place was pretty awesome when it first opened. Now it's just your average dumpy bar filled with 18 year olds and ok food. I recently went for a friend's birthday and it felt like the waiter that was serving us, literally had no clue what was going on. I had to repeat my order to him maybe 3 times and then it took about 40 minutes to bring everyone's food out with plenty of mistakes. My sweet potato fries were also missing and I still hadn't received the two glasses of water I had asked for about 4 times (not kidding). He seemed overwhelmed, maybe they should give him less tables if he's getting trained. I will atleast give it to him that he was a really nice dude and he was trying, but he constantly forgot our orders and took a long time to ever come back to our table. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back to this location again.

Five stars possibly just on service (even though the food was awesome) Our waitress Christine (I think?) was so nice! I'm big on service and kindness and when she brought our drinks I tried to help her by grabbing mine (she had 3 in hand) and ended up spilling some which she was super nice about. We ordered their fiesta nachos and a bistro burger which were both delicious and VERY filling. I dont come often but when I do I end up with really good service. A very awesome set of staff they have here!

Waited in a line for a table for the longest time. We were hungry and willing to spend money on drinks and food but there were couples in booths that fit up to six people just sitting around and paid their meals. UFC night and all we wanted was to sit, eat and drink. Management didn't even notice a couple that walked in and sat at a dirty unclean table as if they were sitting their the entire time. I hate to sound bitter. But this ale house is poorly run and not planned out very well. The manager should teach his hostesses to sit couples in smaller tables not booths so that Millers can make more profit at the end of the night. Millers lost about $100 tonight with our table alone. I'm sure they lost $1,000's.

I went there last night and my bartender was in a bad mood or something because she was not friendly at all. Never checked if me and my friend were doing ok. Never got silverware or refills. I get it , it's busy, you're a girl and guys probably hit on you all the time and you cater to your regulars , but we were not being asses or vulgar. Never going there again.

The only type seating they have in the inside of the place are booths, and very high tables. Both my husband and I are in wheelchairs, and only had the option of sitting outside, in what was 90 degree weather. The food, minus the appetizers was awful. My husbands burger was still breathing, and my salad had old lettuce. I've been to other Ale House bars before and this was by far the worst

The response demonstrates the lack of customer service focus this business desperately needs. 1) No "thank you" for the input, 2) denial that this is "the norm" for the restaurant (after my experience others corroborated they had the same), 3) a request that I email them with the location when this is Yelp! and the location address is attached to the review, and 4) enough information was given for management to attend to problems. Really, why would I beat my head against a wall for you folks? I'm letting the customers out there know to avoid a bad experience. My recommendation is to hire someone with industry experience to clean up this place.

So we bust into this joint on a typical Friday night with the kids to discover the usual crowd is out here to have a good ol' time.... To my pleasant a surprise, they sat us pretty quickly in a child friendly area right in the front. What to order, what to order I'm thinking, no dice.... Normally not a problem for me, but as with all Ale Houses there is a great selection of well priced items but I'm just not sure what I'm in the mood for. So I grab a beer and ponder for a moment. Our girl Brandy suggested the chicken parm with alfredo, so I went with it..... I wouldn't normally do pasta at a place like this , but to my fucking surprise, that s*** was mad proper. Thanks B. Wife was happy with her 35 shrimp, kids were happy with their coloring books, so I'm feelin like we did good tonight. Thanks for reading my b****es. Love, The Bull

This location BY FAR is better than kendall. The prices of everything has gone way up for the quality. It's not bad for meet ups or last resort dinners. The food is still tasty. The last few times they've screwed up on my food,so maybe go when it's not that busy.

I've been here a few times but most of the time for drinks only. The food is decently priced and it's a decent quality which I can't necessarily complain. They have a nice variety of beers & drinks. Normally there's a very sweet bartender that's very talkative & perky by the name of Naty or something like that. As far as servers, some are nice, some try to rush you out of their tables asap but it's understandable. Either way I've never had a bad experience.

Food is whatever. I still haven't tried something that I really like. This all seemed like it was store bought sauces, and sides put together to make a "just cooked" meal. Though that may not be the case, that's what their food appears to be through looks and taste. Could be better!

I love coming here, the food and service are phenomenal, not to mention the amazing bar and beer selection however come on a weekday and during a non traffic hour or else your stuck for hours.

I've eaten here many times & the service is always good. This place is great for some late night munching or a few drinks when everything else is closed. They are one of the few non-fast food options after 12am. This is also a pretty good place to catch a PPV event if you don't want to chalk up $60 for it at home although it does get extremely packed on those nights. My favorite dish there is the non breaded hot wings. Would love to see Pepsi get the boot & get replaced by Coke products but you can't get everything in life.

The menu is not so hot, but I like to go for the ladies' night drink specials and loaded fries. Sara is the best server! She's friendly, attentive, and you can really see that she cares about people. One of my favorite hangout spots!

For the most part, i love Miller's Ale House restaurants. They serve good food at very attractive prices. The Service is always fast and courteous. At this particular Ale house, however, the beer tastes off. They must be cleaning the beer lines with a product that leaves a bad after taste. It makes the beer almost undrinkable. Hopefully they will get that fixed.

Service is fast! A little nippy in Miami, so I stopped in for a drink and some zingers. Good bartenders, and strong drinks, and patio smoking! I'll be back!!!!

My boyfriend and I stopped by for lunch, we sat down for about 5 minutes in the outside area... No one ever came to us to even say "Welcome, we will be with you shortly" We got absolutely nothing, so we decided to go somewhere else right away. Fortunately for us, whenever we decide to go out, our idea is to relax and have fun, not get even more stressed out about bad customer service. :( perhaps next time we decided to try them out they will do a better job assisting us and acknowledging our presence.

5:00 New Year's Eve and the place is almost empty. 20 minutes passed while the waiter looked at us and continued ignoring us. After reviewing the menu several times before we decided to walk out. Been here before and service has not improved.

I love the ale house for a few reasons: it's open LATE so when you're done with happy hour and the other restaurants are closing, just swing by the ale house and finish off your night. They also serve food up until they close which is great (I understand that must be annoying for the employees who want to leave, but please know it is greatly appreciated!) Service is good, place is clean, food is what you expect (except for the hamburger flatbread...disgusting!!) Now my one problem: they stopped ladies night! I understand it was getting pretty ratchet. People would stay there all night and not spend a dime. Guys would drink the free drinks. So then they made the drinks $1 instead of free. Apparently didn't work because they stopped it entirely shortly after. But I want them to have SOMETHING. Maybe ladies night with a minimum of $20 in other purchases? This Thursday night was a ghost town compared to what it used to be.

Unfortunately on this visit the service was horrible. The order was completely wrong and the waitress acted like she wasn't at fault. Manager came to the table twice. I am confident they can resolve this before we leave. Haven't gotten the bill yet but the wine they initially brought was more expensive...

Average everything, service, food, etc. DIRTY! Don't look too closely at anything, like for example the racks of never used wine glasses at the end of the bar.
